Initial Editorial Review

Upon submission, the editor reviews the manuscript for suitability within ONMIND's scope and adherence to the journal template. The editor communicates with the author(s) to determine whether the manuscript is eligible for further review or rejection at this stage.

External Double-Blind Review

Manuscripts that pass the initial review are assigned to at least two or three independent external reviewers. The process employs a double-blind methodology — neither the authors nor the reviewers know each other's identities — to ensure fully impartial evaluation.

Review Criteria

Reviewers evaluate manuscripts based on novelty and originality, objectivity and clarity, methodology and rigor, scientific impact and contribution, validity of conclusions, and quality and completeness of references.

Reviewer Recommendations

Reviewers provide constructive and detailed feedback, suggesting specific improvements where needed, and making one of the following recommendations: accept, minor revision, major revision, or reject.

Editorial Decision

The handling editor carefully considers all peer reviewers' comments and recommendations before making a final decision. The editor's decision takes into account the scientific merit of the work, the reviewers' consensus, and the journal's standards.

Final Outcome

The editor's decision — to accept, invite resubmission with changes, or reject — is final. Accepted manuscripts proceed to copyediting and publication. Rejected manuscripts may be resubmitted after substantial revision, but will undergo the full double-blind review process again from the beginning.
